"I'm taking a leap into cold water."
With these words, Andreas Rickenbacher stepped down from the Bernese government, with no new job lined up.
Today he sits on the board of Swatch Group, chairs the research centre CSEM and holds several other mandates.
On 15 October he joined us in our workshop in Biel/Bienne. Together with Mars, Nick and our guests, we had an open discussion about courage, risk and what it takes to jump when you can't see the bottom.

Andreas Rickenbacher
Former member of the Bernese cantonal government and head of Economic Affairs (2006–2016). An economist by training, known as a measured networker and advocate for Bern as a business location. After a decade in office he stepped away from politics to take on new work in the private sector.
